About this Event
Victoria Baroque’s second summer garden concert of the year features two highly talented and accomplished, young, UK-based musicians: Canadian soprano Rachel Allen, and British harpsichordist Matthew Brown, joined by Victoria Baroque’s flutist and artistic director Soile Stratkauskas. This enticing collection of songs and instrumental music features songs by Purcell, Handel, Rameau, and Barsanti, inspired by nature, love, Scottish folk tunes, and divine inspiration, finishing with Purcell’s otherworldly ‘Evening Hymn’.

Attendance is by donation
