Youth Baroque Orchestra for String Players

Victoria Baroque is excited to announce a new baroque chamber orchestra for students beginning in fall 2022. This small group will play without a conductor, and focus on collaborative opportunities including concertos featuring its members, projects with singers, and the opportunity to play alongside members of Victoria Baroque.

Students will be divided for most repertoire into two levels based on age and experience (RCM 6/7 and RCM 8+). The two groups will share concerts and join forces for larger works.

Weekly rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons:
2-3.15pm RCM 6/7; 3.30-5pm RCM 8+
Fall Term starting on October 2 (No rehearsal on Thanksgiving weekend)
First Concert on December 11th 2pm at St Barnabas featuring Italian Concerti Grossi
