Our 2025-26 Season:
For the 2025-26 season, Victoria Baroque will be bringing you five concerts. In addition, we will be performing Bach’s St. John Passion with the choirs of Christ Church Cathedral and the Church of St John the Divine.

 | Friday, October 3 at 7:30 pm Cello Landscapes Featuring the low frequencies of Victoria Baroque in conversation with the natural world, this program will include concertos by Vivaldi and Porpora, excerpts from Bach's Cello Suites and new music by Canadian composers Emily Doolittle and Chris Derksen.  | Friday, October 31 at 7:30 pm Schubert and Boccherini String Quintets After handing out candy to the mini ghouls and princesses in your neighbourhood, treat yourself to some deliciously rich string quintets performed by the Christi and Chloe Meyers, Mieka Michaux, Christina Mahler, and a special guest from Sweden, Mimé Yamahiro.  | Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 pm Christmas with Octet Victoria Christmastide has inspired some of the most delightful and brilliant choral music. Victoria Baroque joins the professional vocal ensemble Octet Victoria in a program of music by Bach, Buxtehude, and their friends that will bring both joy and tenderness to your festive season.  | Friday, January 16 at 7:30pm Of Gods and Lovers Featuring Metropolitan Opera star, soprano Mireille Asselin, and acclaimed baritone Jesse Blumberg, this program will take you on a tour through archetypal love stories of ancient mythology brought to life by the music of Handel and Purcell and an intriguing new Canadian commission.  | Saturday, May 2, at 8:00pm Sinfonia A word in use for millennia, "symphonia" or "sinfonia" has referred to pleasantness or unity of sound, named specific musical instruments, and titled orchestral compositions. This program explores musical accord in works by Haydn and Mozart, featuring the musical instrument craftsmanship needed to produce it, complete with pictures and demos by local instrument builders.
